Morpheus Care offers a range of NDIS-funded supports tailored to your needs, including—but not limited to—personal care, community participation, therapy services, and support coordination. We help unpack your goals, tailor supports that align with your NDIS plan, and ensure all services are delivered with dignity, quality, and flexibility.
What happens if my needs or funding changes during my NDIS plan?
NDIS plans are flexible and can be reviewed as circumstances evolve. If your needs shift—due to changing goals, health, or circumstances—we’ll guide you through requesting a plan review and collaborate to adjust your supports accordingly, ensuring your plan remains responsive and supportive.
What supports can the NDIS fund—and what’s not covered?
The NDIS funds “reasonable and necessary” supports that help participants lead an ordinary life. This includes personal care, assistive technology, home or vehicle modifications, therapy services, transport, employment support, and more. Not covered are general healthcare costs (like GP visits, diagnosis, medications covered by Medicare or PBS), everyday living expenses, or goods/services unrelated to disability support.
What are the different types of NDIS funding categories in my plan?
NDIS funds are organized into three categories:
Core Supports – day-to-day activities (e.g., assistance with daily living, mobility, community access).
Capacity Building Supports – improving independence and skills (e.g., therapy, training, employment supports).
Capital Supports – investments like assistive technology, home modifications, or Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).
How long does it usually take to hear back about my NDIS funding application?
It varies, but the application review can take several weeks to months. Timeliness depends on how complete your supporting documentation is and current processing volumes. We encourage applicants to submit as soon as possible and remain patient throughout the process.
Can I change or switch NDIS providers if needed?
